| Description: |
Fossil Creek Road can be a bit wash-boarded. The Mogollon Rim is the most magnificent at the west end. The road is wider and more traveled as you approach the visitor center. Some gravel sections where erosion has been filled in can be quite loose. East of the visitor center, NF300 is a bit more rocky-hardpacked. My tracks bail out to AZ-260 because we ran out of time on this section. You can continue east to US-60 instead of turning north to Overgaard.
